The Moonza view

The manor-house style, with dark timber, heavy fabrics, armchairs and refined details, remains attractive for luxury hotels because it conveys calm, trust and the feeling of being a special guest. Today’s designers deliver it lighter and more comfortable than the original.

For executive offices, business clubs and five-star lobbies, Chesterfield or armchairs in leather or velvet, walnut tables and warm table lamps create the same classic feel. Care is needed so the space does not become heavy and dark.

  • For refined classic spaces, choose leather or velvet armchairs
  • Balance dark timber with lighter walls and curtains
  • Table and wall lamps complete the manor feel
