The Moonza view

In small spaces, off-the-shelf furniture often either does not fit or wastes a corner. Furniture designed for the exact space frees up room and creates a calm, unified look. The same applies to small offices, compact executive rooms and apartment-based workplaces.

The key to reducing clutter is enough closed storage; when files, cables and supplies have a set place, even a small room looks tidy and larger. Desks with drawers, under-desk pedestals and shelving that rises to the ceiling do not eat into floor space.

  • In small spaces, prefer closed storage to open shelving
  • Use wall height for storage to keep the floor clear
  • Light, consistent colours make a space feel bigger
